How ZIA Silver Jewellery fits into the Nagpur silver market

What makes bright 925 sterling silver different

Three things matter when you buy silver in Nagpur: purity, finish, and weight.

Purity. Pure silver (99.9 percent) is too soft for jewellery. Sterling silver (92.5 percent silver plus 7.5 percent copper) is the international standard for jewellery silver. Every ZIA piece is stamped 925 to certify this. Anything less than 925 stamped is silver alloy, not sterling silver.

Finish. Bright 925 has a mirror polish look, like white gold. Oxidised silver has a dark, dull patina deliberately applied. ZIA stocks only bright 925. For oxidised silver, we recommend dedicated oxidised silver stores in Sitabuldi and Itwari market.
